PRODUCT VIDEO & B-ROLL

Product video and B roll production

Most brands already have footage. Product shots from a launch, clips from a photoshoot, whatever the last agency delivered — sitting in a folder doing nothing. We turn it into ads. You send what you have, we source what is missing, and you get cuts sized for every place your ads run.

Included in creative retainers from €3,200/mo.

Plus What We Source

You send what you have. What is missing we find. Nothing waits on a shoot being booked.

Every Format

Each format cut on its own, so the product is never half out of frame.

Inside the Retainer

Video and B-roll are part of the creative retainer, not a separate production budget.

For Sound-Off Viewing

Every cut ships captioned, because most of paid social is watched muted.

(01) OVERVIEW

Footage is not the hard part

Brands do not usually lack material. They lack ads. There is a folder of product shots from the last launch, a few clips someone filmed on a phone, and a photoshoot that cost real money and produced eleven usable frames — and none of it has been cut into anything that runs.

That is the work. Deciding which three seconds of a clip carry the message, what the hook cuts to, where the product needs to be on screen when the claim appears. A month of ads comes out of far less material than most people assume, once someone knows what to look for.

We do not film. UGC is filmed by the creators we brief; product footage comes from you, or we source it. What we do is decide what an ad needs, get the material together, and cut it into something that works in a feed.

(02) FEATURES

What you get

Ads cut from your own footage

Send the folder. We go through it, tell you what is usable, and cut ads from it — usually more than you expected was in there.

Sourced footage where yours runs out

Where your material does not cover a shot the ad needs, we find it.

UGC from briefed creators

Creators film against an angle we have already reasoned through, then we cut the result into ad variants.

Every format cut separately

9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 each cut on their own rather than one master cropped three ways.

Hook variants

The same body with several openings, so a losing hook does not take a working ad down with it.

Captions as standard

Captioned for sound-off viewing, because most of paid social is watched muted.

(03) PROCESS

How video and B-roll production runs

01

You send what you have

Product shots, old clips, photoshoot files, anything. We go through it and tell you what is usable and what is missing before quoting.

02

We fill the gaps

Missing shots get sourced, or briefed to a creator if it needs a person. You approve what is coming before anything is cut.

03

Cut and variants

Ads cut per format, with hook variants, so a weak opening does not take a working concept down with it.

04

Back into the loop

What works gets recut for next month's angles instead of starting from an empty folder again.

Frequently asked questions about product video and B-roll for paid social

Do you film the video yourselves?

+

No. Conversion Design does not film footage. UGC is filmed by the creators we brief and direct, product footage comes from you, and where your material does not cover what an ad needs, we source it. What we do is decide what the ad requires, get the material together, and cut it into ads that work in a feed.

What is B-roll and why do ads need it?

+

B-roll is the supporting footage in an ad — the product on its own, the product in use, the close detail — as opposed to the main talking shot. Ads need it because it is what a hook cuts to and what fills the middle of a creator video. It is also what lets one folder of material produce a month of variants instead of a single edit.

What if we do not have any footage?

+

Then we source it, or brief a creator to film what is needed. Most briefs end up as a mix of the two: your product material where it exists, sourced or creator-filmed material for the shots it does not cover.

Can you work with footage from our photoshoot?

+

Yes, and this is the most common case. A photoshoot usually produces far more usable ad material than the brand realises, because it was shot for a catalogue rather than for a feed. Send the files and we will tell you what is in there.

How much does it cost?

+

Video and B-roll are included in creative retainers from €3,200 a month, which is how most brands buy it — the material builds up and gets recut against each month's angles. One-off batches are quoted per project, against how much usable footage you already have.
